Iso E Super

Dilution: 20%

Longevity: Middle to base note

Profile: Woody, ambergris

One of the most important materials in modern perfumery. First discovered in 1973, Iso E did not see mainstream usage until the late 1980s. Iso E is sort of an enigmatic odor, containing facets of cedar, ambergris, patchouli, vetiver, and an olfactive aura and texture that is uniquely its own.

Habanolide

Dilution: 20%

Longevity: Base note

Profile: Sweet, soft, clean, slightly metallic

Habanolide is the replacement I've chosen for Galaxolide. Habanolide is a clean, white musk with hints of woody sweetness and a slightly cool and metallic edge. Even though it is extremely long lasting, Habanolide readily biodegrades

Ambroxide (aka Ambroxan)

Dilution: 5%

Longevity: Base note

Profile: Sweet, musky, ambergris, dry, woody

Ambroxan is a synthetic ambergris material, first discovered in1950 as part of natural ambergris. It is synthesized from the sclareol contained in clary sage. Cetalox is a cousin of ambroxide, but is much softer and sweeter.

Hedione

Dilution: 20%

Longevity: Middle note

Profile: Transparent, jasmine, green, citrus, fruity

Hedione is another material that has become of utmost importance in modern perfumery. It’s usage grew in popularity starting in the late 1970s and has become used in almost all perfumes since. Hedione (aka Methyl dihydrojasmonate) occurs naturally in tea, jasmine, osmanthus, and honey.

Linalool

Dilution: 20%

Longevity: Top note

Profile: Citrus, herbal, floral

Linalool is naturally found in everything from florals (jasmine, lavender) to fruits and berries (blueberries, pomegranate, bergamot, lemon) to herbs and spices (clove, oregano, black pepper, cannabis). On its own, linalool has facets of citrus and bergamot.
