About: Watership Down has been a favorite of mine since being scarred for life by watching the cartoon movie when I was a kid. I've watched the original movie and read the book countless times. The lapine mythology, the characters, the world building and the adventure itself are fantastic. I almost don’t believe Richard Adams when he said it’s just a story about rabbits. There’s too much depth to the characters and story and circumstances.
A vertical blueberry accord - meaning it lasts from top notes through the base notes - is accented by mellow carnation-like witch hazel, bright and slightly bitter dandelion greens, heady sage (a nod to Fiver, the seer), and the dry down is an earthy blueberry and a sweet and gentle vetiver accord, almost like sweet grass, but with a drier edge to it.
The vertical accord of blueberry was a technical challenge I’d been wanting to do for a while, but never really had a place where it fit. After researching what makes up the odor of blueberries (and bilberries and bog blueberries and blackberries and just about every other berry that isn’t red), I found a place where it not only fit, but made sense to do it.
